This map took hours to make! Each dot represents 500 people and is color coded by race. Very informative map, and shows the truth in the stereotype that Santa Monica and West LA (neighborhoods surrounding my school, UCLA) have a high percentage of caucasian residents compared to other areas of Los Angeles. Unfortunately, when I exported the map, the key lost some of its formatting. The white dots, which are now invisible on the map, represent Black/ African American populations in the city. I would love to re-do the map to give it a blue background, but unfortunately, ArcGIS crashed so I cannot recover the data.
Oh well, I am still very proud of the map and the hard work I put into it!
